Best Practices for Product Cataloging

  • Each variant of Product, for example, ice-creams with different flavours, should be added as a different Product Item in your Inventory system to manage stock and price independently while integration.

  • Category Design for Home Page

    1. Create a main category named mainCategory- category ID should be added to home page configuration
    2. Create a category with hasProduct= "false" and parent category as mainCategory to show it on the homepage.
    3. Create a child category with hasProduct= "true" and choose a parent category from the drop down menu.
