Return Management
Overview
Return management in ecommerce involves processes such as establishing clear return policies, authorizing returns, handling return shipping, processing returned items for refunds or exchanges, managing inventory, and analyzing return data for business insights. It aims to ensure customer satisfaction and streamline operations in the online retail business.
Navigator
- For each product, return days may be different so we need to create a return policy. Create return policy with name and no of days.
- In product page, select return policy that you created, By default all products are non returnable"
3. When a customer request for return, the return requests are seen in returns under orders page. The admin can confirm or reject the returns,they can also update the status of the return.
Storefront
- In order history page, customer can request return for each product in an order seperately.
- Select the quantity and reason for return.
- Customer can also give more details supporting their reason for return.
- Choose if you want to exchange the product or need refund.Confirm the return request after verifying the quantity and pickup address.
- In order history you can see the returned items, you can also cancel return.
- When clicking a returned item, we can see its status and other details.
